The area's exceptional aerology makes it a very popular spot for hang-gliding enthusiasts.
The campsite is situated between the 2 international sites of Laragne-Chabre and Séderon, which complement each other in terms of aerology.
The Laragne-Chabre site can be reached from the campsite in 20 minutes by tarmac road. There is an official landing area 150 m from the campsite, so you're right at the heart of the activity.
These sites are FFVL approved and numerous competitions, including international ones, are held there every year.
Climbing, why not?
Nearby (10 mins), the Chateauneuf-de-Chabre and Antonaves climbing sites will satisfy climbers of all levels. The latter, with its ubac exposure, is ideal for climbing without the heat. The fact that these sites are close to the Méouge river means you can combine the activity with a good swim.
The famous Orpierre cliffs are 30 minutes away.
